PKN Magazine

Currie Group, in partnership with PKN Magazine, engaged us to develop a strategy and design an interactive digital print solution that showcases the capabilities of their large format digital printers.

Working closely with the team at Currie, the publishers at PKN Magazine and developers at DreamAR, we designed an outer cover for the March/April issue of the magazine in support of their chosen charity, The Australian Rhino Project. This cover featured a paper model pop out of a rhino printed with unique digital patterns and embossed with digitally printed gold foil.

The cover design was part of a national social media campaign in support of The Australian Rhino Project's efforts to relocate endangered white rhinos to Australia.

The design has been praised worldwide for its innovative application of Scodix gold foiling and HP Mosaic printing technology, demonstrating the potential of digital printing.
