A new bottle shape to showcase the world’s finest sparkling beverages

Known for its quality mixers and sparkling beverages, Schweppes Australia engaged Birdstone to design a contemporary update of the iconic Schweppes omelette bottle.


The design solution celebrates the history of Schweppes in a contemporary context through its unique and elegant waist design. The bottle design is replicated in both glass and PET materials — differentiating products across multiple retail categories while creating a distinctive family of products.

The result is an unmistakeably Schweppes bottle and the re-establishment of the brand as a premium range in all formats.

Creating a cohesive brand aesthetic across two distinctly different packaging materials was both challenging and rewarding. We are extremely proud that Schweppes trusted us with this project.
