Award Winning Week

We are proud to announce Birdstone Collective as two time award winners in the 2020 Packaging Innovation Design of the year Awards (PIDA).

Award ceremonies are some of the many events impacted by COVID-19. Finding a creative way to gather the packaging industry and recognise this year’s accolades, The Australian Institute of Packaging hosted a virtual Zoom ceremony. Cosy cups of tea replaced the standard glasses of bubbles, as hundreds of packaging designers, suppliers and manufactures watched the awards unfold online.

Our Cabot’s Ready Bucket design for the Dulux Group was awarded a silver placing in the Domestic & Household Design Innovation of the Year category. Within the same category, we were also awarded a bronze award for our Telstra Same Day Service Packaging Telstra Sleeve.

The Domestic & Household Design Innovation of the Year category recognises innovative design thinking, function, materials, technology and sustainability within domestic packaging. We are honoured to be recognised in such a competitive category and wish congratulations to all other winners and finalists.
